Jennifer Lopez, Casper Smart split

Jennifer Lopez is a single girl.
The 44-year- old- singer and her 27-year-old beau Casper Smart have called it quits after two and a half years, TMZ reported.
The split  was amicable and the duo remain friendly but simply grew apart, the gossip site added.
Lopez and Smart decided to go their separate ways a couple of months ago, a source told the Daily News.

Smart recently was rumored to have been engaging in private messages with a transgendered woman he met through Instagram, however, TMZ reported that had nothing to do with their break up.

"Casper has been a single guy and can text or see whoever he wants, but the idea that he was knowingly texting a transsexual is laughable," an insider said.
"He's not that guy."

"It wasn't an easy decision, but they decided to stay friends," another source told Us Weekly. "Their relationship couldn't work with the distance. He started trying to establish his own life and career, and she is so focused on hers, and they just couldn't be all about each other anymore."
Smart is said to be currently moving out while Lopez is busy on the road promoting her tenth studio album.
The star made headlines this week as she returned to her hometown in the Bronx to perform for the first time ever.
